New School Cheese Chips

Ingredients

  • 8 slices New School American Cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cut the cheese: Cut each slice of New School American Cheese in half diagonally to create two triangles.

  3. Space them out: Arrange the cheese triangles in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving plenty of room between each piece.

  4. Bake: Bake for 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, golden, and crisp around the edges.

  5. Let them crisp: Remove from the oven and let the chips cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes. They will continue to firm up and become crisp as they cool.

  6. Serve: Enjoy on their own or serve with salsa, guacamole, ranch, or Simple New School American Cheese Sauce for dipping.

We believe in better

Fed up with the old school approach, longtime friends Alan Leavitt and Chef Eric Greenspan sought to create a cleaner, tastier alternative to traditional American cheese. After five years of tinkering with the cheese-making process, they created New School. American cheese done right.
